Now that the whole world has turned its attention to the Samsung Galaxy S series of smartphones, the South Korean company decided to remind everyone of its proprietary OS: Bada. So here it comes folks: the Samsung Wave II with practically the same Bada OS, but with some Swype improvements.

The new Samsung Wave II features a 3.7-inch 480 x 800 WVGA SLCD touchscreen with multitouch support, 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird CPU, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth 3.0 support.

The Samsung Wave II release date is November 2010 in Europe, while the price tag stands at €429 ($590). What do you think about the new Bada phone? What’s your take on Bada in general? Personally, I’m not a fan of this OS, but Samsung seems to support its project and it’s on the verge of releasing another high-end Bada smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard.
